A very thoughtful and questioning song that came about as lyrics at first and then the chords came later on. When I was travelling in cities throughout Canada, Spain, the US and London I often felt upset when I saw tree's that had their roots cemented over! I was outraged! I wanted to help the earth be protected by humans destructive and polluting ways! I was also feeling lost, that was a common theme in my life in my 20's.
