Oh the heart ache I was feeling when I wrote this song having just broken up with my partner! OH THE PAIN! This is a beautiful, vulnerable expression of the experience of heart ache and sadness yet feeling connected to mother nature and so held by the flowers and the sky etc. I was living in Melbourne city at the time so would take myself to the botanic gardens and cry as I walked along the flower gardens. And the piano chords of this song really did soothe my heart ache and pain.
